Egypt eVisa Requirements

A passport is the only document the applicant will need to apply for an Egypt eVisa.

No visit to an embassy is needed; just submit a clear scan of the passport's bio page, fill in the details online, and receive the approved eVisa by email.

The Required Document

Japan Passport Bio Page

Passport Bio Page Scan

Upload a clear scan or photo of the passport bio page. All details you enter in the application must match this page exactly.

Bring this same passport while travelling to Egypt.

Passport and Scan Requirements

Before submitting the scan copy of the passport bio page, confirm the following points.

  • The passport must be valid for at least 3 months from the date of arrival in Egypt.
  • The scanned copy must be clear, complete and fully readable. Blurry or cropped scans will require resubmission.

What the Application Form Asks For

While filling out the visa application form, the applicant will be required to provide the following details:

  1. Personal details from your passport
  2. Contact details (Phone number and email address (your approved eVisa will be sent here))
  3. Basic travel information

Make sure all details entered match your passport exactly before submitting.

What happens if the details I enter do not match my passport?

Incorrect passport details may cause processing delays or entry verification issues at the border. Review all information carefully before submission.
