eVisa for Egypt
The e-Visa for Egypt is issued online for tourism or to visit friends and family. It is valid only for short stays in Egypt and provides a faster, more efficient way to obtain a visa to travel to the country.
The eVisa is available in 2 types, which are
- Single-entry eVisa: The single-entry eVisa allows you to visit Egypt once after issuance. It allows you to stay in Egypt for up to 30 days and is valid for 90 days.
- Multiple-entry eVisa: Allows multiple visits to Egypt within the 180-day validity period, with a maximum stay of 30 days per visit.
Visa Processing & Cost for the Egyptian eVisa
The Egypt Visa Cost for UK citizens is paid in USD. The fee can be paid by credit card, debit card, or bank transfer.
There are 3 types of processing available:
Normal Processing
The Egypt eVisa is issued in 5 - 7 Working Days after you submit the form with the normal processing option.
Rush Processing
The Egyptian eVisa is issued within 3 - 5 Working Days provided the rush processing option is used.
Super Rush Processing
The Egypt eVisa is processed within 2 - 3 Working Days after receiving the application form.
Applying for a Visa for Egypt
To apply for the eVisa, UK applicants must follow the steps below:
Fill out the Application Form: Provide your personal and passport information. If you are a minor, you must also submit additional details and a copy of your birth certificate.
Processing Speed Selection: Select a processing option for your Egypt eVisa application: normal, rush, or super rush.

Extension:

- UK citizens can also obtain an Egyptian on-arrival visa at immigration counters at Egyptian airports; however, applying for the eVisa in advance is generally preferred for a smoother entry process.

If you plan to visit Egypt once, get a single-entry visa. It costs less than a multiple-entry visa and allows the same length of stay. If you expect to return to Egypt, apply for a multiple-entry visa.
