Egypt eVisa Requirements
Your passport is the only document you need to apply for an Egypt eVisa.
No visit to an embassy. No stack of supporting paperwork. Upload a clear scan of your passport bio page, fill in your details online, and your eVisa arrives by email.

Passport Bio Page
This is the page in your passport that carries your photograph, full name, passport number, date of birth, and the machine-readable lines at the bottom.
Upload a clear scan or photo of this page. All details you enter in the application must match this page exactly.
Bring this same passport when you travel to Egypt.
Passport Requirements
Before you upload your passport scan, confirm the following three things:
- Valid for at least 6 months from your arrival date in Egypt. If your passport is close to expiry, renew it before applying.
- The scan is clear, complete, and fully readable. Every detail on the bio page must be visible. Blurry or cropped scans will cause delays.
- The same passport must be carried when entering Egypt. Your eVisa is linked to the passport used during the application.
What the Application Form Asks For
Beyond the passport scan, the online form guides you through the remaining steps. Nothing needs to be gathered in advance.
The form will ask for:
- Personal details from your passport
- Your contact email address (your approved eVisa will be sent here)
- Basic travel information
- Payment for the eVisa fee
Make sure all details entered match your passport exactly before submitting.
Common Question
